MILAN: Danish striker Jon Dahl Tomasson's 62nd-minute goal gave AC Milan a 1-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow on Wednesday to leave the Italian side top of Champions League Group C with a maximum nine points from three games.
The win takes Milan a step closer to a place in the quarter-finals but the uninspired performance of Carlo Ancelotti's side left a 72,000 San Siro crowd frustrated and indicated that Milan have yet to truly emerge from their mid-season form trough.
