Rueda suffers hand fracture after crash

SEPANG: Newly-crowned Moto3 world champion Jose Antonio Rueda is awake and under observation after being involved in a collision with CIP Green Power rider Noah Dettwiler during the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit yesterday.

According to a statement from Red Bull KTM Ajo, the 19-year-old Rueda, who is receiving treatment at a local hospital, suffered a fracture to his hand and severe concussion, but did not sustain any serious injuries to his head or torso.
