Motor racing-Verstappen's race engineer to step up at Red Bull


LONDON (Reuters) - Formula One champions Red Bull will promote Max Verstappen's race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase to a new head of racing role once sporting director Jonathan Wheatley leaves to become Sauber principal next year.

Team boss Christian Horner said Lambiase, who reports to technical director Pierre Wache, will also remain in his role with triple world champion Verstappen next season.
