Azlan sets his mind on riding for team first than making money

Sweet victory: Veteran racer Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman won Race 1 for the Malaysian team after starting from fifth on the grid on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Veteran racer Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman agreed to race for TKKR BMW Racing Team at the opening round of the Asian Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in Buriram, Thailand without getting any salary.

And the 40-year-old, who was the overall winner when the ASB1000 category was introduced for the first time in ARRC in 2019, does not mind doing it again.
