Zaqhwan steps on the gas but Noguchi’s a step ahead

PETALING JAYA: Mohd Zaqhwan Zaidi (pic) stepped on the gas but it was not good enough to stop Haruki Noguchi from dominating the Asia Superbike 1000cc in the FIM Road Racing Championship.

Zaqhwan, the Honda Asia-Dream Racing with Showa rider, got off to an explosive start but ran out of steam as Noguchi went all the way to capture race two at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand yesterday. He also stayed solid to win race one on Saturday.
