Sufian applauds team’s spirited display in Asia Cup


Tough luck: Malaysian boys playing against Pakistan during the Asia Cup semi-finals.

PETALING JAYA: Head coach Sufian Mohamad had nothing but praises for his hockey boys after missing the final of the Under-18 Asia Cup in China.

Malaysia fell 3-4 to Pakistan in the penalty shootout after the match ended in a 3-3 draw in regulation time on Friday at the Dazhou National Hockey Training Centre.
