KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian hockey team are set to face a test of their character when they take on Egypt in the 9th to 16th place playoff in the Junior World Cup at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil today.

The team coached by Amin Rahim need a win in front of the home fans after missing out on a last eight spot following a chastening 2-5 defeat to Australia in the final Group A match on Friday.
