BHUBANESWAR: Malaysia have beaten world No. 9 New Zealand 3-2 in their final World Cup Group C match at the Kalinga Stadium here on Thursday (Jan 19).

Star player Faizal Saari broke the deadlock for world no. 11 Malaysia when he scored in the ninth minute.
