PETALING JAYA: A shaky start didn’t stop national dancer Cherry Yeo from claiming gold in the solo Latin female category at the World Dancesport Federation (WDSF) Malaysian Open over the weekend.

Cherry danced her way to victory at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Shah Alam but admitted that her routine didn’t get off to the best start in the WDSF World Ranking event.
