MALAYSIA’S Mirabel Ting has taken another decisive step in her rapidly rising career, capturing her first Epson Tour title in dramatic fashion at the Epson Tour’s inaugural Smoky Mountain Championship presented by Food City.

The 20-year-old top-ranked Malaysian beat Rachel Kuehn in a playoff after both finished on 15-under – the fourth time this season she reached double digits under-par, and continued a rookie campaign that is fast becoming one of the stories of the year.
