Golfers simply not up to par compared to past outings

BANGKOK: The national golf team endured their worst SEA Games outing in a decade after ending the Thailand campaign empty-handed – a sorry collapse following two highly successful editions.

Malaysia struck gold in the previous Games, with Ervin Chang delivering a double in the men’s events in Hanoi in 2022 before Ng Jing Xuen pulled off a stunning upset to claim the women’s individual title in Cambodia last year.
