LPGA Pro-Am raises US$2.5mil

THE Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has announced that all playing spots for the 75th Anniversary Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Resorts have been sold out, raising a record-breaking US$2.5mil for the LPGA Foundation.

“This milestone marks not only the LPGA’s most successful fundraising effort to date, but one of the most ambitious philanthropic events in the history of women’s sport,” said Jacqueline Nickelberry, LPGA Foundation board member and chair of the 75th Anniversary Pro-Am.
