THE Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour resumes this week, after a two-and-a-half-month layoff, amid expectations of great excitement.

The events unfolding on the fairways of the Bunga Raya course of Saujana Golf and Country Club in Subang, Selangor, where the Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy will take place from Tuesday through Thursday, should give us a fair idea as to where the games of the leading players are, in terms of prowess, following an absence of competition since the PGM Seri Selangor Closed Championships in February.
