PETALING JAYA: National golfer Jeneath Wong has made history by becoming the first Malaysian to win the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific Championship in Vietnam on Sunday (March 9).

The 20-year-old carded a three-under 68 on the final day to finish 18-under 266, one stroke ahead of South Korea’s Oh Soo-min in second place with 17-under 267 at the Hoiana Shores Golf Club in Hoi An, Vietnam.
