US President brings reunification deal closer


THE “leadership” of US President Donal Trump has brought a deal to end golf’s civil war closer, according to the PGA Tour.

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and player director Adam Scott met with Trump this week as efforts continue to strike a deal between the US-based tour, the DP World Tour and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which backs LIV Golf.
