Marcus pips Ben to win first pro title

PETALING JAYA: Marcus Lim rode a hot putter to snag his first professional victory when he streaked home with a four-under 68 to win the Alphard Cup by a stroke at the Penang Golf Resort yesterday.

One stroke behind overnight leader Edven Ying at the start, Marcus made big putts and knocked in five birdies within a six-hole stretch from the seventh to the 12th holes to card a seven-under 209 total.
