Rising golfers out to make their mark at Asia-Pacific Amateur meet


PETALING JAYA: Five rising Malaysian golfers are set to compete in the 15th Asia-Pacific Amateur Championships, which kicks off at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba in Japan today.

Malaysia’s top ranked male amateurs participating are Andrew Yap – ranked 349th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), along with Anson Yeo (435th), Zia Iqmal Abdul Rashid (572th), Zubair Firdaus and Rizq Adam Rohizam.
