Inaugural ‘friendly’ proves a hit

NOBODY could be more overjoyed with the successful staging of the inaugural Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Trophy, an international friendly at Saujana Golf and Country Club in Subang, Selangor, than the man whose name the tournament bears.

President of the club, Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin, mooted the idea to host the event to foster a closer bond and friendship amongst the cosmopolitan membership of Saujana.
