Malaysia win third staright world final in Phuket

In high spirits, Team Malaysia celebrate their World Amateur Championship triumph in Phuket.

THE final of the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) returned to Thailand, from where Malaysia emerged triumphantly, for a third consecutive year.

The five-strong team that represented the country were the champions selected from the Perodua National Amateur Series final held at Els Club Langkawi last month.
