Nelly Korda will be in the field at KLGCC next month.

WHEN proper international tournament golf returns to Malaysia next month, the field at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) could well be the strongest yet of any ladies’ event held in this country.

The inaugural Maybank Championship on the LPGA Tour, to be played on the West Course of KLGCC from Oct 26 to 29, announced this week the confirmation of five more major championship winners in the field – world number three Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko (No 4), Celine Boutier (No 5), MinJee Lee and Brooke Henderson (No 13).
