THE world of golf was turned on its head last weekend when Brooks Koepka won the 105th PGA Championship title at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.

For more than a hatful of reasons, Koepka’s two-stroke victory over Victor Hovland stood out unlike any of the other majors over the last couple of years or so.
