PUMA Golf have launched the new ProAdapt AlphaCat Disc shoes.
Developed to provide players with the “Alpha” of all spikeless shoes, the new design combines superior performance and hi-tech materials with Puma’s trademark fashion-forward aesthetic, making the shoes their new standard in the premium, spikeless golf shoe category.
“The AlphaCat is the ‘King of Comfort’ and it boasts an impressive array of innovative materials, including Puma Golf’s proprietary Adapt foam, which is made from a combination of EVA cushioning and an impact resistant polymer,” said Andrew Lawson, of Puma Golf, Footwear.
The combination of the materials creates a platform that provides impact resistance, energy return and ground-feel.
The ProAdapt multi-material outsole features a high-durometer, abrasion resistant TPU perimeter that provides great stability and traction on soft surfaces, while the central crystal rubber unit provides good traction and a soft under-foot feel on hard surfaces.
“It gives you the confidence to hit any shot, no matter the lie,” said Lawson “The upper is an Exo Shell comprising a mesh with a TPU film that provides both structural support as well offering waterproof performance.
“The new ProAdapt AlphaCat Disc brings the exact energy and innovation we are about here at Puma. More golfers now than ever are wearing spikeless shoes, so when we approached the build of this shoe, our engineers and designers used both performance innovations and style trends to create the most advanced spikeless golf shoe Puma has made to date.
“At the end of the day, the ProAdapt AlphaCat Disc gives golfers a shoe that they can feel confident, looking great and perform their best in.”
The ProAdapt AlphaCat Disc shoe is available in two colours with a laceless system and comes with a price tag of RM689.
