AS the world of sport, and the globe as a whole, continues to battle the pandemic, this week’s British Open will be played under “strict Covid-19 protocols”.
This was message reportedly handed down by the R&A chief executive officer Martin Slumbers, to players, caddies and coaches who will be at Royal St. George’s in Kent, England for the 149th Open that starts on Thursday.
