HONMA’S new family of clubs has been designed with advanced T//World GS (Gain Speed) technology to deliver more speed and better playability for a wide range of golfers.

“These game improvement clubs are beautifully-crafted and streamlined, ” said Honma US Marketing vice-president Brad Holder. “In much the same way as the TR20 and TR21 clubs delivered a great design for better performance for mid to low handicappers, the GS line offers a rewarding combination of technology.

“Everything about the new GS line of drivers, fairways, hybrids and irons shouts speed, consistency and confidence, ” he added.

Honma’s T//World XP-1 will be replaced by the new GS line that has been specifically crafted to help golfers gain speed, which in turn translates to more distance.

Honma Takumi and their 60-year history of craftsmanship worked in partnership with the North American engineering team in designing the new Flip Slot and Keel Sole for the modern shaped GS clubs.

The T//World GS 460-cc drivers, designed for straighter ball flights and more distance, are shaped with a raised Keel Sole towards the heel to promote a draw bias and a low, deep centre of gravity and high moment of inertia (MOI) to maximise forgiveness.

The drivers are available in lofts of 9.5,10.5 and 11.5 degree heads and a Honma SpeedTuned shaft.

The fairway woods and hybrids follow similar aesthetics and design characteristics of the new GS driver.

The fairway woods inspire confidence at address with a traditional shape and size, as does the hybrid that also features increased face flexure for maximised ball speeds and reduced spin. These clubs are available in a U3 (18 degrees), U4 (21), U5 (24) and U6 (27).

The new T//World GS irons are ideal game improvement clubs, designed to inspire visual trust at address and technology that corrects mishits.

The irons are easier to hit and feature a wide, deep cavity and sole to increase centre of gravity depth for enhanced MOI.

The men’s set includes 6-iron to 11-iron and the women’s 6-10 iron plus SW.

The clubs come with suggested retail price tags of driver: RM3,350, fairway wood: RM1,750, hybrid: RM1,490, iron set (6-piece) steel: RM5,500 and graphite: RM6,500.
