YAMAHA inpres UD 2 DR
YAMAHA Golf have unveiled a new line of UD+2 metal woods that have got tongues wagging on tee-boxes and fairways.
The inpres UD+2 driver, fairway woods and utility all have been improved on with the use of Yamaha’s new SpeedBox structure.
This innovation is found on both the crown and sole, where 1.5mm deep box-shaped indentations are placed along the face perimeter. The purpose is to dramatically increase rigidity in the area by minimising the energy-sapping diffusion of vibrations.
In short, this results in the energy being utilised more efficiently, which in turn results in faster ball speeds and more distance on shots.
The extra weight of the SpeedBox structure is also fully utilised to optimise the centre of gravity and maximise the moment of inertia (MOI).
This in turn offers more forgiveness on shots across the face as well as helping to keep the ball flying straighter.
The inpres UD+2 driver, fairways and utility are paired with the Fujikura Air Speeder shafts made exclusively for the Yamaha
UD+2 line.
The UD+2 driver comes with a suggested retail price of RM2,790, the Titanium 3 Wood RM2,520, the fairway wood RM2,250 and utility RM1,850.
