(Reuters) - Crowd favourite Rickie Fowler fed off the energy of a vociferous gallery and extended his lead to four strokes in the third round at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Saturday.

Fowler teed off with a one-shot advantage over fellow American Justin Thomas, but gave himself a nice cushion with an eight-birdie seven-under-par 64 at TPC Scottsdale.
