THE Els Club Malaysia has unveiled a new collection of imagery of its Desaru Coast – Ocean Course, highlighting the design of four-time Major winner Ernie Els, in the region of Johor Bahru.
The photography depicts the three nine-hole layouts of the course, bringing to life the quality of each. The tract was crafted by Els, who has become one of the game’s leading designers, sharing in his creations his experience of golf courses from all over the globe.
Desaru Coast is located on over 3,900 acres and a 17km coastline along the South China Sea. It’s a 45-hole property that also features the Els and Vijay Singh-designed Valley Course. It’s a classy destination with top-class facilities including the Els Performance Golf Academy, the Big Easy Bar & Grill and the Café 261.
Speaking of the new imagery general manager Stephen Havrilla said: “It is fantastic to see the development here since its opening in 2016. Ernie’s vision for the Desaru Coast has come to life as the courses continue to mature, offering an entertaining challenge for golfers of all levels.”
