PETALING JAYA: A meltdown midway through the second round has resulted in Gavin Kyle Green (pic) missing the halfway cut by just one shot at the US PGA Tour’s Quicken Loans National.

The 23-year-old, who competed in the US$7.1mil (RM30.52mil) event in Maryland on a sponsor’s exemption, could only manage a three-over 73 for two-day total of five-over 145, leaving him tied for 75th with seven others, including two-time CIMB Classic champion Justin Thomas.
