Gavin bags Northport crown for second PGM Tour title

Gavin Green of Malaysia claimed his first professional victory after closing with a five-under-par 67 at the PGM Northport Glenmarie Championship in Shah Alam on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Gavin Kyle Green won his second Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour title when he captured the Northport Glenmarie Championship crown by two strokes at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam.

The player, who blew a five-shot lead in the final round of this event last year, carded a 67 and did it with a birdie, after he and India’s S. Chikkarangappa started the 72nd hole level-pegged at 18-under-par in Saturday's finale.
