PETALING JAYA: Nicholas Fung carded a steady one-under 69 to claim the outright lead at the halfway stage of the season-opening Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour’s I&P Closed Championship.

The 25-year-old, a 12-time PGM Tour winner, birdied the fourth hole and parred the rest at the Kinrara Golf Club for a six-under 134 and a one-shot lead.
