48-foot birdie helps Arie to trail leader by four strokes

PETALING JAYA: Arie Irawan Fauzi holed a massive 48-foot birdie putt on his way to a seven-under 65 to trail leader Sutijet Kooratanapisan by four shots after the second round of the Asian Development Tour’s (ADT) Ciputra Golfpreneur Tourna­ment in Jakarta.

The 24-year-old Arie scorched the Damai Indah Golf & Country Club course with seven birdies to go seven-under 137 for a share of seventh placing with seven others, including compatriot Danny Chia. It was also the day’s lowest score.
