PETALING JAYA: Fans at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium were treated to a six-goal thriller when Premier League side Chelsea and local giants Johor Darul Ta'zim held each other to a 3-3 draw.

JDT broke the deadlock on Sunday (Aug 9) through winger and captain Arif Aiman Hanapi, who finished off a pass from fellow winger Marcus Guilherme in the 14th minute.

The away side then got their equaliser when striker Liam Delap was fouled in the penalty box by JDT's Colombian centreback Kevin Medina and the English player took responsibility from the spot by burying it past goalkeeper Ahmad Syihan Hazmi.

In the second-half, Chelsea took the lead when Delap scored from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute.

But the home side, buoyed by their supporters, mounted a fightback.

Spanish wingback Oscar Arribas scored the equaliser in the 65th minute and then Brazilian striker Bergson Da Silva thought he had the winner in the 86th.

But Chelsea snatched a leveller in the dying stages of the match when Antonio Glauder scored an own goal.
