Soccer-Qatar to host postponed Lebanon-Yemen match in Asian Cup qualifier


May 25 (Reuters) - ⁠Qatar will ⁠host Lebanon's postponed match ‌against Yemen in the 2027 Asian Cup group ​qualification round fixture ⁠on June ⁠4 in Doha, state ⁠news ‌agency QNA reported on ⁠Monday.

The winner will join ​Group ‌E alongside South Korea, ⁠the ​United Arab Emirates and Vietnam in ⁠the tournament, which ​will be held in Saudi Arabia.

A draw will ⁠be enough for Lebanon, while Yemen must win to ​qualify for ⁠the first time since ​2019.
