Soccer–Quinones scores fastest Saudi Pro League goal since 2021 as Al‑Qadsiah rout Al‑Riyadh

Jan ‌4 (Reuters) - Julian Quinones needed just ‌16 seconds to fire Al‑Qadsiah into an early lead in ‍their 4–0 victory ‍over struggling ‌Al‑Riyadh on Sunday, netting the ‍fastest ​goal in the Saudi Pro ⁠League since May 2021.

The Colombian-born forward's ‌goal was the fastest in ⁠the ‍league since Moroccan winger Nordin Amrabat’s 13‑second opener ‍for Al‑Nassr against Al‑Faisaly ‌in May 2021, Saudi broadcaster Thmanyah reported.

Al‑Qadsiah cruised to a resounding win in Dammam, lifting their tally to 24 points and ‌putting them fifth in the standings, eight points behind ​leaders Al‑Hilal.
