Soccer-Sassuolo return to Serie A after just one season away


(Reuters) -Serie B leaders Sassuolo secured their return to the top flight on Sunday after third-placed Spezia drew 2-2 with Mantova, a result that guaranteed Fabio Grosso's side promotion after just one season away.

Two teams earn direct promotion from Serie B, and Sassuolo have 75 points with five games remaining. Pisa sit second, trailing the leaders by nine points. Spezia are on 59 points.
