Malaysia hold North Korea 0-0 in AFC U-20 qualifiers

PETALING JAYA: After downing Oman on Saturday, Malaysia have held North Korea to a goalless draw in Group H of the AFC Under-20 Asian Cup 2025 qualifiers.

The Malaysian side, led by Juan Torres Garrido, put up a strong defensive performance to hold one of the group favourites North Korea 0-0 at the Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Monday (Sept 23).

Malaysia are second in the group with four points, while North Korea top the group with four points but with a better goal difference.

The Harimau Muda will take on host nation Tajikistan next at the Pamir Stadium on Friday.
