PARIS (Reuters) - French drinks and spirits company Pernod Ricard has struck a four-year sponsorship deal with the country's reigning soccer champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Pernod said on Monday.

The deal comes as France's top-flight Ligue 1 championship battles to keep hold of TV audiences, with PSG's star striker Kylian Mbappe having left the club for Real Madrid this summer.

Pernod Ricard becomes a worldwide official partner and will be the sole champagne and spirits provider of the club, the company said.
