Security tight as 1,500 police to man Charity Shield match between Selangor and JDT

PETALING JAYA: The Charity Shield match between Selangor and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on May 10 will proceed as planned.

The Red Giants had requested for the game to be postponed after one of their players Faisal Halim was splashed with acid on May 5 and their chief executive officer Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon received a threatening call from an anonymous person.
