RM5mil for FAM after Asian Cup result against S. Korea

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the government would give RM5mil to the footballing body to manage the national team and matters under their purview.

"Because of that spirit, based on the request by the Youth and Sports Minister, the government has agreed to add RM5mil to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to manage the national football team," he added.
