Thailand tie is like final exam, says Under-23 goalkeeper Izhan

PETALING JAYA: After being unable to dethrone Thailand twice in two separate tournaments, national Under-23 goalkeeper Sikh Izhan Nazrel Sikh Azman has told his teammates that their next game against Thailand is like a “final exam”.

Malaysia lost to Thailand 0-2 in the group stages of the SEA Games in May and during the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-23 Championship last month, they were beaten 2-4 by Thailand in a penalty shootout after being held 0-0 in the third-fourth placing match.
