PETALING JAYA: Since his lung-bursting performances for Malaysia in the AFF Mitsubishi Cup, expectations on young wingback V. Ruventhiran have skyrocketed, with many expecting him to be a key player for Selangor this season.

The 21-year-old, who recently signed for the Red Giants, has been monitored by coach Tan Cheng Hoe for a while now.
