Malaysia Cup: KL beat JDT 2-0


PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur’s 32-year wait for the Malaysia Cup title ended after they beat Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) 2-0 in the Malaysia Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday (Nov 30).

Winger Zhafri Yahya (65th minute) and captain Paulo Josue (72nd minute) scored the goals as the City side shocked the odds by beating the favourites, who were looking to defend the title.
