Mahali thankful to be given chance to play as a striker

Experienced forward: Mahali Jasuli (left) played an attacking role during his time with Harimau Muda.

PETALING JAYA: Veteran Mahali Jasuli is grateful to Petaling Jaya City coach P. Maniam for believing in his ability to deliver as a professional footballer.

The now 32-year-old Mahali, a regular rightback with Selangor and PKNS, decided to join PJ City last season and has no regrets especially after Maniam reverted him to a striker’s role.
