KUALA LUMPUR: National head coach Tan Cheng Hoe has defended his selection of naturalised player Guilherme de Paula for centralised training, saying he plans to use the Brazilian-born player for a more attacking brand of football.

Cheng Hoe is hoping that De Paula would recover his form ahead of the 2022 World Cup-2023 Asia Cup second round qualifying campaign in June.
