Durakovic recalls tussle with the great Diego


PETALING JAYA: Former Australian international Mehmet Durakovic’s tussle with Argentine legend Diego Maradona during their 1994 World Cup qualification playoff is well known.

The match was notable for being the first time Argentina had to play a qualification playoff match and it saw the return of Maradona to the national team after a long dispute with manager Alfio Basile.
