RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - A goal in each half from Nene helped Fluminense to a 2-1 win over Corinthians in Rio on Sunday and condemned the Sao Paulo side to their second consecutive defeat.
The former Monaco and Paris St Germain striker put the home side ahead after eight minutes when he hooked home a cross from a prone position and he doubled their lead when he converted a penalty two minutes from time.
