PETALING JAYA: The third tier of the Malaysian football league – the M3 – has been cancelled. Amateur Football League (AFL) chairman Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff Mahadi said the decision was made due to the health and safety of the football community and also the financial impact on teams in the M-3.
The decision was also made after the National Security Council (NSC) and the Health Ministry decided to bar football matches played in the open fields.
