Malaysia beat Indonesia 2-0 in WC qualifiers to end year on a high


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia end 2019 on a high after beating regional rivals Indonesia 2-0 in the 2022 World Cup-2023 Asian Cup qualifiers at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Tuesday (Nov 19).

Harimau Malaya got their first goal through Safawi Rasid in the 28th minute, when he opened his qualifying account by curling in a beautiful free-kick from 20 metres.
