Hoping to hit form: National striker Safawi Rasid (centre) will be out to score a goal or two when Malaysia play the UAE at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil tomorrow.

KUALA LUMPUR: National striker Safawi Rasid is drawing inspiration from his past performance against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the 2022 World Cup-2023 Asian Cup Group G second round qualifying match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil tomorrow.

The swashbuckling forward was on target in the 2-0 win over the UAE Under-23 side in a friendly at the Shah Alam Stadium last year, which ended in a brawl.
