PETALING JAYA: For someone who doesn’t take penalties during training sessions, D. Kenny Pallraj turned unlikely hero for the Seladang as they prevailed in a shootout with Hong Kong club Kitchee in the AFC Champions League preliminary stage match.

The former St. Michael Institution student converted the winning spot-kick as Perak went through to the playoff stage 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 deadlock at the Perak Stadium on Tuesday.
